Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much does life coaching cost?
A: Prices for life coaching services and programs range from $77.00 to $400, depending on how many sessions and how long they are. However, my services are flexible and can accommodate the wishes and needs of my clients on a case by case basis. Some discounts may apply, as well.
Q: What if I desire services but I can’t afford the fee?
A: There are some rare cases that will be considered and accepted for a budgeted payment plan. Contact Lisa Gore for more details.
Q: How do I start the life coaching process?
A: Contact me ( Lisa Gore) to schedule an appointment for an initial session. First we will do a free consultation over the phone. During the 1st session we will begin to form the foundation of our work to follow, i.e. explore values, focus areas and goals. In that session we will also decide what kind of schedule would work best for you.
Q: Does life coaching focus on your career and/or personal issues?
A: Because any area of your life could be the road block to your success, we will tackle many things. For each person it’s different, but the short answer to this question is yes.
Q: What does your life coaching certification signify?
A: Now a day’s anyone can call themselves a life coach, but what sets me apart is that I have completed a rigorous coaching training program which is accredited by the American Union of NLP and I am certified as a coach by this training institute.
Q:How long does life coaching take?
A: For each individual the time frame is different. After the 1st consultation I would be able to advise a time frame for each client.
Q: Is life coaching different from counseling or therapy?
A: Life coaching deals more so with the present and future. It does not examine the past in great detail but instead focuses on the future. And although the life coaching that I provide is therapeutic, it is not therapy. Counseling and therapy usually deal with issues and healing on a much deeper level than coaching. Also, life coaching is not considered a mental health service per se and therefore can’t be purchased with health insurance.
